Dr. Liara T’Soni – The Asari Pureblood

Liara represents the naiveté and exoticism that men look for in foreign women. She is blue, has no hair due to being of the alien race Asari, and can live up to 1,000 years old. Her race – Asari, are mystical humanoids that birth only females. Their length of life and curiosity with experimentation has led to nasty rumors of promiscuity and relative ease in having sex with them. When Shepard lands on Citadel, there is one sexy Asari mystic that is known as Sha’ira the Consort. Sha’ira and her “skill” revealed to me the reasoning behind the rumors. The Asari are plentiful in the strip clubs of Citadel and harbor what we humans consider to be perfect bodies. So it is no doubt that Asari sex is sought after by the red-blooded human males of Liara’s time. The sexual nature of this race reminded me a lot of the Twi’Leks in the Star Wars universe. Liara however is different, she is a nerd’s dream come true being that she is a hardcore introvert, socially inept but innocent to a fault.

Relationship and First Impressions

When Shepard first meets Liara, she reveals to him that she has an obsession with studying Prothean history. Shepard, having been touched spiritually by Prothean technology in one of his missions could reveal much to Liara if she could get him to fall in love with her. This little tidbit is due to the fact that Asari bonding is the equivalent of a Vulcan mind-meld from Star Trek. While sex would feel good to you (the human), probably the best thing ever, for her, she would involuntarily share her mind and history with you, while tapping into yours. So sweet little Liara’s orgasm would probably expose the deepest of Prothean culture to her from Shepard’s mind. Though seemingly selfish a want, her attraction however is a bit more than a scientists musings or a virgin girl’s curiosity. You see, she was also rescued by Shepard, so there is a ton of complications behind her attraction, making her a little aggressive in her pursuit for him, in her own passively cute way.

Liara is probably the safest love interest to choose due to the Asari’s open-mindedness on sex/relationships cross species. No worries about her taking you home to meet dad and no complex emotional issues behind her cute visage. No Liara is a simple scientist who loves her some Commander Shepard, so much so that he can be her first. This isn’t a light thing either since Asari lock in on one love and will stay loyal until he dies – I say he because she will of course outlive him unless he is another female Asari which is seriously frowned upon.

Hot or Not? What About The Looks?

Looks? Liara is a cutey-pie but as far as earth girls go her body is a little too “normal” for me. Compared to other Asari girls, specifically the dancers and elected women I saw in Citadel, Liari still has some of her baby fat (I know it sounds mean). While other Asari girls explored planets meeting people, running adventures and developing killer bodies from being active – Liara was stuck in labs looking up Prothean items and eating hot pockets. This is not to say that Liari isn’t sexy, she just doesn’t compare well against Ashley’s military hard-body and Tali’s shapely figure. Still her eyes and kind nature makes up for her lack of muscle-tone and she is a beautiful woman in her own right. If I were to choose an actress I would say young-adult Drew Barrymore for Liara, facially they have the same innocent look going on.
