Okay you nerdy wannabe super heroes it looks as if City of Heroes will be hopping on the free-to-play bandwagon and allowing you open access later on this year. Current people that are still kicking It in tights however will be given VIP status (no not very immense penises you silly nerds) so that they can gain access to content that the freeloaders have to unlock. Pimps with the guap to pay the hell out of NCsoft for upgrades will be rewarded additionally… I guess we can’t get mad at them for crowning their paying customers huh?
Free players can expect access to only about 75% of the current game – calm down people it’s FREE! Here are some of the items that new free-to-play heroes will get:
- Play a Hero or Villain up to Level 50
- Own up to 1 Alt per account (total of 2 playable characters)
- An assortment of 8 archetypes with 100 power sets
- A total of 45 Zones to choose from
Sounds like a deal to me, but then again I’m not planning on playing this game but maybe some of you are? What do you think?
