Mass Effect 3 Extended Ending Coming On June 26!

mass effect extended cut Mass Effect 3 Extended Ending Coming On June 26!

Well Mass Effect fans and Shepard junkies, we asked and it has finally been developed for release in 4 days from now.

The ending to Mass Effect 3 was one of the most disappointing and comment-worthy (some would say cringe-worthy) disaster to come out of Bioware since the abortion known as Dragon Age 2.

Not only did it annoy and completely turn people off from the company but it also added fuel to the fire that has branded Electronic Arts as one of the worst companies of 2012.

If you are like me and decided to be patient in waiting for a real answer to the debacle, you should be curious enough to try this out. If anything just see if it rekindles your love for the Mass Effect universe after the shallow ending to the series that 3 provided.

I truly hope to see what became of my beloved Jack after Shepard’s fate and more importantly the Earth, Illum and all of the other worlds that was left to my imagination in the original tri-colored ending.

From Bioware:

The Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut is a downloadable content pack that will expand upon the events at the end of Mass Effect 3. Through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, the Extended Cut will include deeper insight to Commander Shepard’s journey based on player choices during the war against the Reapers. The Extended Cut will be available to download at no additional charge on June 26th on Xbox 360 and PC and PlayStation 3.

So are you hype for this Mass Effect fans? Or will this band-aid fail on you no matter what kind of explanation it gives? Let’s be honest with ourselves as passionate nerds here; I am pretty damn sure that the extended version will not make you feel any better if you have already written Bioware off. I just need more closure for my Mass Effect universe so I truly hope that this expansion will do it.

The wound has healed for many, so the solution does nothing more than re-open the cut. I think the company should have just have just stood by their finale product and introduced some POST game DLC from Joker’s perspective or someone else that takes place during the ending and post ending. Not some extended cut scenes. But I am curious regardless.
