Having attended one of these events last year I will say that they are very well run and my only gripe was the immense “nerd funk” that enflamed my nostrils. Well that, and the occasional moron seeking attention in the hot room – doesn’t take much to annoy me. Still, I met many awesome players, respectable badasses and I learned a lot from the competitive atmosphere. If this is doable by you Godkings out there, please go out and support the Orlando crew and rep your skills.
In the future I will repost these things earlier (now that I know they exist) and hopefully you fighting champs that aren’t members of Shoryuken.com (or got turned off by it like myself due to the ball grabbing), can get out to more venues in terms of tournament gameplay. Unfortunately I won’t be able to rep team Chunkuri (that’s Chun Li, Sakura and Juri for you slow folks) this go round but Batman333 may be there for clan 3GK.
