Dragon’s Dogma Review
Dragon’s Dogma is an action/RPG set in fantasy themed land called Gransys where a dragon comes and terrorizes your small fishing village and steals your heart. So you now set out to get it back, on the way you fight goblins, bandits, undead, griffins, ogres (not the Shrek kind), Cyclops, Chimeras, and many other mythical beasts. The gameplay is nice and simple where the controls are not overly complicated (no SSFIV combos needed).

The Walking Dead: The Game – Ep.1 Review
Episode 1: “A New Day”
So the guys at Telltale Games have released their latest game following in the same footsteps of Back to the Future and Sam and Max. By releasing episodic titles, the players are definitely in for a real treat with their latest endeavor The Walking Dead. Based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead: A New Day is the first of 5 episodes that will be released on a monthly basis.
Okay so I...
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Review
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (RE:ORC) is the latest piece of Resident Evil canon published by Capcom (notice I say PUBLISHED, not DEVELOPED). The game was created or developed by Slant 6, the people who created SOCOM Confrontation (PS3), Fire Team Bravo and Tactical Strike (both on PSP).
The game was not received well by the community with a preview/review by IGN essentially calling it garbage, and other gamers who got...
King of Fighters XIII – First impressions
I have been a fan of the KOF series for some time – KOF 97 being my favorite. I, like many others was very disappointed with King of Fighters XII but I am pleased to say that this new installment makes up for the mistakes that KOF XII had.
I have only played about three hours and so far I am pleased with what I am seeing. I have only beaten the arcade mode once using the Ikari Warriors team. The game play feels just like...
Street Fighter X Tekken – MASSIVE Review
After much anticipation, Capcom has finally released the follow-up to their staple series Street Fighter 4. “Street Fighter versus Tekken” has always been one of those “what if questions” back in the day when the respective games were out. But it never seemed feasible because one was a 2D fighter and the other a 3D fighter. The marriage of these titles seemed impossible though Capcom made attempts with the “Street Fighter...
Everybody Dance – Review
With the music game genre going stale, there are a few titles out there still trying to tickle your fancy. And while Sony slowly churns out PS Move titles something’s got to give right? Well get your groove on with “Everybody Dance” Sony’s answer to the Wii’s “Just Dance” and 360’s “Dance Central” series. With the actual music videos (with the exception of a few songs), Twitter and Facebook integration,...
Dance Central 2 – The Review
This was written with the assumption that you’ve played the first Dance Central. If you haven’t, let me preface this review by saying the original Dance Central was the game to get if you ever wanted to learn how to dance and have fun doing it. It’s much easier than watching music videos on youtube!
Now that that’s out of the way let me start out by saying Dance Central 2 is every bit as fun as the first and more. ...
Battlefield 3 – The Massive (Multiplayer) Review
Battlefield 3 is so dramatically different from the “fun” FPS games that I have played extensively in the past that it has become a bit of an obsession for me as of late.
One of the main reasons is the difficulty factor in both the campaign and multiplayer modes (yes especially the evil co-op modes). In other games you can play the part of sniper, lay prone in some glitched up grass on high and pick off ignorant victims for...
Batman: Arkham City – A Purrrfect Review
Holy S@#! Batman Why Are You So Awesome!
Well Gothamites here is my review of the unprecedented sequel to Rocksteady’s sleeper hit Arkham Asylum. Batman games in general have gone through phases of being sub-par to just downright atrocious. Yes I have endured many terrible Batman games in my time, but with all the pain comes much glory in Batman: Arkham City. Folks this is the real deal and I feel that this game will certainly...
Catherine – Massive Review
“Oh Catherine, Katherine where art thou?” Ah nothing like love in the air except when you’re a guy like Vincent Brooks. Wait you must be wondering what I’m referring to. Well the Bat is back and here is my review on the Atlus game Catherine. Queue the sinister female snicker…
Atlus is well-known for the Shin Megami Tensei series as well as Persona (Persona 3 was one of my personal favorites). And with that said fans were...
