Valve’s Alien Swarm – Review

Valve’s Alien Swarm – Review
Alien Swarm has got to be one of the best things going for owners of a Steam Account. Valve issued this free game to anyone with a PC and you better believed I jumped on it after receiving a tip from my buddy Krys on Facebook. Expecting a cheesy momentary distraction, I had no clue that I was installing an addictive kickback to games like Smash TV, Ikari Warriors and Gauntlet. Alien Swarm is a kickback to many older games but it comes with a twist!...

Mass Effect 2 DLC – Overlord

Mass Effect 2 DLC – Overlord
For those of you Mass Effect fans who were annoyed by the short length and campy story of Kasumi Goto (the last DLC) I can assure you 100% that Overlord will regain your trust in expansions. I was happy for Kasumi (the character) who has now become an invaluable teammate and the Locust Sub-machine gun but the quest left me salty at the money I spent last time. This time however Bioware gives us a true quest in the endgame, more clues into Cerberus...

Mass Effect 2 DLC – Kasumi Goto

Mass Effect 2 DLC – Kasumi Goto
Hey Mass Effect fans, if you are on the ropes as to whether you should get the DLC for Kasumi Goto or not, I will tell you that it should depend on where you are with the game. If you are still in the middle of a playthrough, or if you are considering running through it again, then by all means purchase it. Below I will break down the elements that come with this $7 download and you decide for yourself whether you want it or not. :: Kasumi Goto In...

Mass Effect 2 – MASSIVE Review

Mass Effect 2 – MASSIVE Review
As a passionate lover of the Mass Effect Universe, I will try my best to keep this review short and sweet. Easier said than done but I will do it damn it, so help me! Anyway, Mass Effect 2 takes up where the original Mass Effect left off and sends Commander Shepard into a new adventure with a new crew and a new boss calling the shots. Of all the great enhancements, fixes and changes made to the game engine, graphics and playstyle, my absolute favorite...

Dragon Age Origins – Review

Dragon Age Origins – Review
Bioware has done it again, keeping in tune with their reputation as great storytellers and game makers. Dragon Age Origins easily stole hours away from my life from initial purchase till finishing credits. Craving the world of Ferelden, my love for the sorceress Morrigan and the quest, made me steal precious hours away from my busy life in order to push my character along. Dragon Age is a tale of a Blight (host of demons) being unleashed upon the...

Age of Conan – A Herald’s Journey

Age of Conan – A Herald’s Journey
“Fatalities are one of the sweetest extras that Age of Conan brings and the added graphic of blood splattering on the screen never seems to get old. ” The one problem I was plagued with at the outstart of the Age of Conan was the fact that the versatility of character classes was not reflected in the 3 races that a person could choose from. The races of Aquilonian, Stygian and Cimmerian can be seen as Roman, Arabic and Germanic...

Everquest II – A Broad Review

Everquest II – A Broad Review
Sony Entertainment of America released this sequel to their mega successful MMORPG Everquest in hopes of giving already addicted gamers an enhanced game experience with graphic intensive visuals and hundreds more quests. Seeming more like a polished rehash of the original than a sequel, the early version of the game turned off many of the hardcore original gamers and seemed to appeal more to newer people like myself. I originally bought Everquest...
