I strongly disliked The World of Warcraft back when it launched, not because of the story, not because of the gameplay and not because of the company – seriously, I love Blizzard, being a huge Diablo / Diablo II player with a serious jonesing for 3 when it finally releases. Well the trailer for Dragon Age: Redemption is out and as to be expected nerds are hating. Still for those of us who can appreciate shows that don’t magically come with a million dollar budget, this should be a fun ride with a little fan service paid to our favorite RPG series (I know, I know). Still it has Felicia Day who has more than proven that she can carry a low budget show into success and it has, dare I say a non-white... 

Recently the ever positive fan-base of Bioware’s Mass Effect showed it’s ugly side when a contest was held to give the female version of Commander Shepard (nicknamed FemShep) a face. Bioware must’ve thought this would be a fun contest that would anoint a popular vote to be the face but the effort backfired as one woman stood above the rest. While Bioware gave gamers and fans choices from a short pixie-haired brunette... 

Mass Effect fans, being that Bioware is one of the only companies out there who pays attention to the fact that gamers aren’t all straight, fat, white and male, they are now allowing you to select the look of the Female alternate Shepard to cover Mass Effect 3. The choices are diverse but heavily pale so no worries undercover nerd racists the nightmare of a brown Shepard will probably not be realized. I know it’s hard...
