Legend of The Lightning Legs – Chapter 3
An Underground Tournament
Chun Li sat across from her boss at the Interpol Headquarters, she had just briefed her on the fight with Birdy and the intel gathered from Mike Bison. Selena was a beautiful woman who had climbed the ranks through hard work and great policing but her experienced attitude could come off as harsh to those who didn’t know her. The boys in the office told cruel jokes about her sleeping her way to the...
Fighting Games Need Separate Tournament Editions
Check out Greg Dragon’s latest vlog on the current fighting game trend of giving us a full roster instead of unlockables (in newer games like TTT2). This could be remedied by offering tournament DLC with characters unlocked to organizers and keeping the vanilla games full of unlockables so that the games can have a longer life span for casuals.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – Wii U Edition
Not sure what to think of this but Wii U is doing it’s damnedest to make gamers pay attention. Look I too am biased with thinking that Wii U will disappoint the same way that the previous systems have with lack of true 3rd party software, an overly kiddy atmosphere and somewhat lame innovations that nobody cares about. But not too long ago they announced that Bayonetta 2 would be an exclusive and now this silliness…

Why Should You Play Persona 4 Arena?
With all of the great fighting games out there that have gained momentum such as Super Street Fighter 4 AE, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and The King of Fighters XIII, where does a game like Persona 4 Arena fit in?
Coming from an experienced and varied fighting game background, I wanted to take a look at P4A and really flush out who exactly this Japanese RPG-based fighter caters to. Calling Persona 4 Arena an RPG-based game is...
EVO 2012 – A Showcase of Class And Community
Evolution 2012 World Championship has just ended in Las Vegas and man what a great showing this year. For those that are unfamiliar, EVO is one of the largest fighting game tournaments in the World. Players from different regions compete against one another in a no holds barred match using muscle memory, wit, and complete skills.
Some of the games featured this year were Super Street Fighter 4 AE 2012, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom...
Lost Footage: 3GK SF4 Banea House Tourney ’08
Awesome photo by Alexander Nerozya of 500px.com – Click Here for the original.
I have had an excellent time with Street Fighter 4, hell beyond it being THE game to save the genre it has become as close to perfection in a fighting game than you would have expected.
Still I have this hate for watching old tournaments that I have played in simply because I tried competing way before I was any good at the game. The old videos...
King of Fighters XIII – First impressions
I have been a fan of the KOF series for some time – KOF 97 being my favorite. I, like many others was very disappointed with King of Fighters XII but I am pleased to say that this new installment makes up for the mistakes that KOF XII had.
I have only played about three hours and so far I am pleased with what I am seeing. I have only beaten the arcade mode once using the Ikari Warriors team. The game play feels just like...
Tekken: Blood Vengeance
As a Tekken player and fan, I have always found the Mishima family to be the one downside to an otherwise nice mix of fighters with varied backgrounds. Due to my thoughts on this, you can see why the roles they played in Tekken: Blood Vengeance were the only downside for me to an otherwise delightful CGI movie.
The story of Tekken: Blood Vengeance is of a student Shin Kamiya who is used in an experiment along with other teens...
Dare I Play Fighting Games For Fun?
I came up in life loving, training and fighting in tournaments (martial arts) then wrestling and playing Football in High School at a decent level. One thing that the physical aspects of competition taught me was that winning feels great but the true beauty is in the experience itself. I love martial arts, so much so that if you dropped me on that island in Enter The Dragon I would be happier than a pig in… wait let me get...
